G-licence vehicle types we partner with
Porterchain focuses on commercial light- and medium-duty vehicles commonly used for local delivery across the GTA and Ontario metros we serve. Vehicle eligibility is confirmed during onboarding.
Sedan
Urban and suburban runs for smaller parcels, documents, and time-sensitive local delivery where a car is the right fit.
SUV
Additional cargo space for multi-stop routes and medium-sized deliveries without stepping up to a van.
Pickup truck
Open-bed and mixed loads for merchants that need flexible local freight within standard G-licence limits.
Cargo van
Enclosed capacity for recurring B2B routes, trade deliveries, and multi-stop work across our service areas.
Box truck (16 ft)
Palletized and heavier local freight where GVWR remains within partner program guidelines. Confirmed at onboarding.
An Ontario Class G licence (or equivalent eligibility for the vehicle operated) is required. Additional documentation may be requested as part of partner onboarding.
Built to simplify how you run delivery capacity
Porterchain is a logistics technology platform — not a gig app. We focus on structured operations, clear communication, and workflows that respect your time on the road.
Recurring route opportunities
When merchant volume supports it, partners may receive recurring local routes rather than one-off, unpredictable dispatches. Availability depends on service area, vehicle fit, and network demand.
Transparent partner terms
Compensation structures and payout timing are outlined in partner agreements before you accept work. We avoid vague promises — you review terms that apply to your operating model.
Operational support
Route details, pickup and delivery instructions, and status tools are provided through the partner workflow so you spend less time coordinating and more time completing runs.
Operate one or multiple vehicles
If you manage more than one eligible vehicle, our onboarding process can account for multiple units subject to program guidelines and documentation review.
A straightforward partner onboarding path
From application to accepted routes — designed to be clear at each step.
Apply with your vehicle details
Share vehicle type, service area, and availability. We confirm G-licence eligibility and whether your vehicle fits current merchant demand.
Complete onboarding review
Documentation, insurance, and program terms are reviewed before partner access is granted. No work is assigned until onboarding requirements are met.
Accept routes through the partner workflow
When routes match your vehicle and zone, you receive structured assignments with instructions, tracking, and completion steps in one place.
Making your day-to-day operations easier
Whether you run a single van or a small fleet, Porterchain aims to reduce administrative friction so you can focus on safe, reliable delivery.
Clear route instructions
Pickup windows, delivery details, and completion requirements are presented up front — fewer mid-route surprises.
Partner workflow tools
Status updates and route visibility through the partner portal — designed to keep field work and dispatch aligned.
Room to grow with multiple vehicles
Operators with several eligible vehicles can discuss fleet onboarding during application. Each unit is reviewed against program and insurance requirements.

Local Ontario focus
We operate across GTA and select Ontario metros. Partners work within defined service areas rather than open-ended national roaming.
